Digitimes is reporting today that Nintendo has been ramping up production orders of the Nintendo Switch console over the last couple of weeks. There’s a definite shortage at retail at the moment with some third party sellers capitalising on this. The site says that production orders of Nintendo’s latest system have risen by 20 percent.
Digitimes: Nintendo increased production orders for the Switch by 20% in the past 2 weeks, incl. at manufacturing partners Foxconn+Hosiden.
Digitimes says in Taiwan, for example, the exclusive sales agent in that region expects new devices at the end of April at the earliest.
