The Pokemon Company tweeted yesterday an apology to fans for featuring Pokemon who are not available in Pokemon Sword & Shield in the latest animated episode of Pokemon Twilight Wings. As you know, the animated series is geared around the latest Pokemon title Pokemon Sword & Shield for the Nintendo Switch and some viewers of the animation felt frustrated that they featured Pokemon such as Dewgong in the newest episode.
Don’t apologise that they’re in Twilight Wings. Apologise that they’re *not* in Sword and Shield. And while you’re at it, fix that fact.
Well, they *are*.. Expansion pass y’know. All added Pokémon will be obtainable after the expansions release if you are/know someone with the expansion and trade with them.

This is nonsensical in context. The claim wasn’t that anyone was being forced at gunpoint to pay, the claim was that they are being forced to pay *if they want content that should be included in the base price*. Whether or not the dexit complainer paid doesn’t matter because right now this is an imaginary hypothetical dexit complainer.

People keep saying this, and it is still wildly silly and unprovable. That Sword and Shield sold well does not tell us whether or not it would have sold even better had dexit not been a thing.
This entire “They only do stuff if profits are falling” is honestly very flawed.
You know what else sells really well? Mario, Zelda, and Smash Bros and yet those franchises are always striving for improvement.
Mario Kart in particular always sells immensely well but that still doesn’t stop Nintendo from looking for ways to further advance the series and make each entry feel like an evolution of the previous game.

Only people who should be complaining are the people who actually didnt buy the game like me. Why complain when Gamefreak said that every Pokemon wasnt going to be in the game months before the game was available and showed the game and had started EXP share? Game cant be that bad yall helped it over 1 million units in weeks.

Its a forced xp share, which makes the pokemon in your party generally over leveled without you ever having to use them. Caring about difficulty doesn’t strike me as all that unreasonable.
I borrowed my friend’s game and speedran it in only 6 hours. I literally fought spent about 20 minutes in the wild area when I first left the main town and I rushed through everything. They literally had no idea how to develop a game right lmao

When did this become the go-to defense on the internet for people who defend unpopular things? Because it has never made any sense before and it certainly isn’t starting any time soon.
Giving a product your money gives you *more* justification to give feedback, not less. Why on earth would having paid money for something take away your ability to criticize it? Is this a universal truth, or does it only apply to things that you like? You’re on here just about every day complaining about Nintendo being slow to release things. Does that mean that you aren’t allowed to criticize this if you ever buy any of these games that took them so long to make? If none of the people complaining had ever played the game, you would similarly be pretending that the fact that they haven’t played it somehow dismisses their valid points.

Not if they unveiled the game months before releasing it. If or when Miyomoto plants to talk about Pikmin 4 and that the game is easier and the graphics suck, and not a lot of enemies on it, I’m not paying $60 for that. That’s why they have reviews. That’s like before buying a new car or a new house. You just going to purchase it.or do. Research? I didnt buy Pikachu or Eve ? Why ? Because you cant capture Pokemon. How I know? Because I read about it way before those games debut. So why would I give Gamefreak 60 bucks for Eve when you cant capture wild Pokemon, it is easy and Sword and Shield is easy too. 60bucks for Eveevee and 60nucks for sword and shield? 120bucks to complain? I gave Miyomoto 60 bucks for Pikmin 1, 60bucks for Pikmin 2 and 60 bucks for Pikmin 3. I been asking for nearly 5 years for Pikmin 4. That’s my complaint. I love.them.

Dewgon is possibly going to be added within the upcoming DLC updates, but i do wonder about that possibility seeing as they went as far as to apologize for “misleading” which makes me think it might not be added in the DLC, will just have to wait and see. Have they properly thought it through they could have used Primarina instead of Dewgon.
On a side note, how many of the people getting salty about this would actually even use a Dewgon in-game anyways? In the long run, it is just another excuse to complain again…

Would you look at that, Gamefreak rushes to release this game in a year to fit with the anime and merchandise only to not have it fit with the anime at all. Oh the irony
*Looks at complaints and laughs because Gamefreak sold over 6million units for $60 bucks after unveiling animations, every pokemon not available, easy to be over leveled by the time you reach the 2nd gym.
Only way to not be easily over leveled is avoid trainers. And yet that’s the best part about Pokemon battling other trainers in the wild before you reach a gym. Yet if you do too many battles you get over leveled and easily beat the gym.trainers to reward you a badge. You cant even take off exp share. Haha Haha
