Epic Games has secured some big names from the EDM scene for their Fortnite Party Royale Premiere event that kicks off later this week with the likes of Deadmau5, Dillon Francis and Steve Aoki all taking part in the virtual concert. The festivities kick off at 9PM ET on the free-to-play battle royale title and is sure to add a little party atmosphere for the Fortnite fan base.

    While this sounds big, don’t expect anything actual big. Fortnite isn’t treating this as an actual event like the marshmello or Travis Scott one. It’s just a live video put onto a big screen. You get a cool cosmetic though

      1. As far as digital concerts go, yeah it’ll be a concert, but it won’t be as flashy as the Marshmello or Travis Scott live events. It’ll definitely be longer than those live events though, the test they did with Diplo was 20ish minutes, while the live event ‘concerts’ were under 10 and more akin to being a part of an interactive music video.

        Free reactive wings backbling for going to this though, so it’s worthwhile. It flashes all kinds of different colours when you emote.
