Finally, a Kingdom Hearts game has been announced for the Nintendo Switch platform by Square Enix. However, this is a brand new rhythm action game which is titled Melody of Memory and it is due to be released this year on multiple formats. Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory also includes online battles.
Depending on the stage, Disney characters will appear as guests and lend you their strength. The game features a massive catalog of over 140 songs, including music from the Kingdom Hearts series, Disney, and more. Enjoy rhythm-based action through unforgettable music.

Thanks to Elias for the news tip!
I didn’t expect to wake up and see this.
KH has great music but rhythm games aren’t really my thing. I wish they’d just bring some of the older KH games to Switch.
They really want to capitalize the only part of KH that was worse than its story?
Of course Nomura would try to find a way to incorporate the story in a rhythm game. Bet he would do the same if Sora was in smash, I’ll just watch the cutscenes online.
I can already imagine his splashcard: “Sora staples a chicken, touches his forehead, and sings Old McDonald!” Because it makes about as much sense as the Kingdom hearts series.
Crazy world we live in
Sora for Smash Bros confirmed.
