Update: Toys for Bob will be revealing the game on Monday!
A thread has appeared on 4Chan showing off low resolution screen shots of the currently unannounced new Crash Bandicoot game, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. The screen shots appear to come from the announcement trailer which Activision is set to release shortly. The game is listed in the trailer as having a release date of Friday, 9th October and features ‘Totally Tubular’ skins for Crash and Coco if purchased digitally. The game is developed by Toys for Bob and looks set to release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 first with a Nintendo Switch version in the pipeline, though this hasn’t been confirmed.
Well Toys for Bob wrote a tweet saying that we have to wait till monday.

Yeah, I like that they’re going for a time-travling setting withthe game. Could opens many doors, and reminds me of CB3 Warped. So the 22 of June date was right. Man this game leaked hard.
In fact it was leaked by someone last week on 4chan and this person specifically said that on 22 of June we will get the announce of the new Crash game.
Really Crash 4 has been leaked so hard.
Let’s hope it runs 60FPS this time or that we’re getting a 60FPS version (PC/XSX/PS5) sooner rather than later. Really really wish for this to be good!

Then it shows the gameplay video of Crash in Smash. 😂

You know i don’t mind having him in Smash, but pretty soon, Sakurai might run out of ideas on adding random characters from other series. I wonder how Crash move sets will be for the crossover.

Well, I don’t think Sakurai ever will go out of ideas. When you really love your work you can pour years of efforts into things. But we’ll see the end to new characters sooner rather than later :(

I’ve never been a fan of Crash. While all the kids were playing it on PS I was loyal to Mario and Pkmn back on the day. Still is.
I didn’t read amazing things about remake the trilogy but I heard that it is only worth checking out for the nostalgia factor.
I played the trilogy not having played the originals and it was great. You don’t know what you’re talking about.
The character redesigns look like hot garbage. Should have just used the same style from the trilogy and CTR…
