  1. I’m not really a crash fan even so i don’t play his series at all but he is still cool. its nice to see him back in action again with his new mainline game in his series.

Well that’s sad. But I just discover that the devs of this game aren’t the same of N-Sane Trilogy. Probably they will ask someone to port the game.

I just did a quick search about Crash games. The N-Sane Trilogy was ported by Toys for Bob. So why the hell they haven’t made a Switch version of this game? Maybe the sells were poor?

Yeah thinking a bit about it they’ll probably have to bring the game first on those 2 platforms andthen on Switch.

From what I have understand PS5 has retro compatibility of PS4 games. So if the game comes to PS4 automatically comes to PS5.

            Xbox is a different topic.

More levels like in N-Sane trilogy?

            1. PS5 has confirmed only 100 titles titles are backwards compatible at launch? There’s no guarantees with PS5 as Sony has stated that depends on the developers and publisers in every case.
MS has stated at one point the aim for every single Xbox game ever will be playable on Series X. Don’t know if that’s true or changed at this point, but if true, Sony is the slowpokes on backwards compatibility.

Thank you for a more precise information. I didn’t follow the news about PS5 very well but I haven’t heard this type of backward compatibily from Sony.

                1. The thing with PS5 backwards compatibility is that it have like 3 different states. It’s either PS5 enhanced, PS4 Pro Boost mode or Base PS4 mode. It depends on the game and its compatibility. Xbox on the other hand states every BC will be enhanced with either resolution, FPS, HDR or all; even the original Xbox games will take the “full” advantages of XSX. MS has been stabbing Sony lately with “No legacy modes on Series X” etc.

                  1. 𝑵𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒐 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑶𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓

Yeah in fact I have heard some comments from the MS staff against Sony’s PS5. They really fight so hard each other.

                    1. I hope MS wins first round. We all know Sony can makes excellent games, and The Xbox Team can as well if they get enough banking from MS. If XSX does it well, and better at launch than PS5, we’ll get better competition, better prices, better games.

                      1. 𝑵𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒐 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑶𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓

I personally remain in the neutral spot. You know I’m a Nintendo fan and prefer to watch without making absurd statements regards of both companies.

                          1. 𝑵𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒐 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑶𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓

Nintendo wins when they don’t make mistakes.

            1. 𝑵𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒐 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑶𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓

Maybe you think like this. But some companies do things in a different way. They see how the game sells on a platform and then choose if continue to bring gameson that platform or not.

                1. 𝑵𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒐 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑶𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓

Then why Crash Team Racing Nitro didn’t got a PC version? It’s strange imo.

                  1. Well, Crash Trilogy had a 1 year exclusivity to PS before releasing on everything else. CTR got released 1 year ago with a few days of today. It might show up now soon.

          2. I don’t know how well Crash N. Sane Trilogy sold on Switch, but I don’t think it was bad. I think they’ll have a port of this Crash 4 for Switch later, since some aspects would have to be toned down a bit so it can run on the less-powerful hardware.

            1. 𝑵𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒐 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑶𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓

Watching the trailer again I think the models aren’t the problem but the game is full of lights and probably those ones will be toned down. Plus we don’t even know the resolution and the fps of the game right now.

          1. Why? It’s a weaker console than PS4 and Xbox 1. It seems like it would be easier to put games on the Switch than a more powerful console. The more powerful a console seems.the longer it takes for a game to release.

        1. How the hell is this Nintendo news? Resident Evil 8 was also announced and it’s not coming to the Switch, how come I don’t see you reporting it? Leaks already pointed that Crash 4 wasn’t coming to Switch and yet you keep reporting it.

          1. Yeah it sucks. Nintendo should get rid off all Capcom Characters in Smash bros. Why should Nintendo share Smash Bros revenue to Capcom when in return never bring up to date Resident evil franchises?

        2. Well we are discussing the sales of Insane Trilogy on Switch and the good chances of if this getting a port. So not concrete Switch news, but not completely unrelated to Nintendo.

Also, people can stream Resident Evil 7 on switch, maybe Capcom will do that for 8.

        3. Just another case of Sony not wanting the Nintendo side to have nice things.

Not too crazy about the redesigns or the blatant discontinuity after Warped (unless it takes place between those two eras).

Guess this will be the last we hear about this game on this site.

          1. 𝑵𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒐 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑶𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓

Uhm Sony has nothing to do about this game not be available on the Switch. It’s Activision who decided to give money to Toys for Bob for having the game on PS4 and Xbox, as it seems for now.

I disagree about the redign of the characters. I found the design simple and clean compared to the high quality fur on the N-Sane trilogy.

              1. 𝑵𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒐 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑶𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓

Yes it’s true what you wrote. Imo I prefer using a texture than simulating the fur. A texture is just a 2D picture putted in a 3D model while the fur is more complex and can impact the performance of a game but you get a more realistic 3D model.

        4. Mircosoft can easily whip PS5 ass and that’s not just graphics. Just bring out a Banjo-Threeie and Fourie later on In series life cycle if they worked on it immediately after Theeeie. It could be done in time before whatever generation is next. Conner’s bad fur day. And even if they cant bring DK games at least another 3D adventure game DK inspired. All Xbox needs is a variety of gener of games instead of 1st or 3rd party shooters with just improved graphics.

I would love to see Banjo-kazooie in a new 3D adventure in 4K. I mean sure it is nice to see the world we live in today being as realistic as possible into a video game but is that all they want to focus on? Cant Xbox make a human being not based on real life all the time? Mario is a human and we all see him as not designed based on real life. Look at Pokemon Snap. Decent graphics at animation. Why is it Nintendo only does this the most but not Sony or Microsoft as much?

        5. I hope those Sony and Microsoft fans arent expected to pay Sony and Microsoft $550 for an upgrade every 2.5 years. Yall know that’s what Sony and Microsoft going to do since their Pro systems launched 2.5 years ago.

These consoles are moving too fast
