Animal Crossing New Horizons is the highest rated Nintendo Switch title and is placed at No.5 and is followed by Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition at No.6.   1. The fact that The Last of Us 2 is higher rated than FF7R, Animal Crossing NH and Xenoblade Chronicles makes me not take Metacritic seriously anymore. TLOU2 was beyond garbage with it’s poor story, dragged out pacing and terrible ending. Nothing like the first game.

    1. They should probably add *according to critic scores. Game reviewers are mostly a joke. You’d be hurting as a gamer if you made all your purchases exclusively off what “games journalists” say.

    2. 100% agree. The 1st was a masterpiece that I’ll always renember. After I read some of the story and watched a few streams I decided not to even get the game and cancelled my preorder. Really gutted as I waited so many years for it.
