Video: Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD remaster “Maniax Pack” DLC trailer

16 years ago, when Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne Maniax released, it had Dante from the Devil May Cry series as a guest character. Now, with the game’s remaster coming soon, he’s coming back. A new Japanese trailer was released for Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne’s HD remaster. It’s for a DLC called the “Maniax Pack” that will be available in Japan on October 29th, the same release day as the game itself, for 980 yen.

The DLC adds a mode, accessible via the title screen, that is called “New Game ~Maniax~”. In this mode, Dante replaces Devil Summoner 2’s Raidou Kuzunoha in cutscenes. The title screen’s loop movie and logo also turn into “Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne Maniax”. Dante’s skill, “Son’s Oath”, also receives a new “Pierce effect” in the remaster. The trailer is down below.

Rather than adding this old ass dlc to the actual base game as the original had added on the actual disc they decided to strip it from the game and sell it seperately, talk about bottom of the f!@#ing barrel greed!
