Amazon UK lists The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for Nintendo Switch

A new listing for the Wii title The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword has appeared on Amazon UK. The listing doesn’t specify the release date, but it is available to pre-order. There were rumours of a Nintendo Direct taking place towards the end of this month and this seems likely to be one of the announcements. It will be interesting to see how Nintendo decides to transition controls for the Switch as the original was based on motion controls with Wii Motion+ This is the second game to be spotted on Amazon UK over the last few days as a listing recently appeared for Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered for Switch from EA.

Thanks to Maxim for the news tip!

    1. Yep they did.
      Nintendo also stated at the time that they have no plans whatsoever to port this game to the switch

        1. Aah yep I meant those articles.
          Strange though, I could’ve sworn that the game was also listed by Amazon France iirc?

  1. If they do release this game on the Nintendo Switch, then do I hope they include a left-handed mode. The lack of a left-handed mode made the game harder for me, being as I am SUPER used to holding the Wiimote in my left-hand and nunchuk in my right-hand. All other games I play I played with the Wiimote in my left-hand, and if I needed to use the nunchuk I would use the nunchuk with my right-hand.

  2. I’d really like to believe this, but it currently seems just too unlikey.
    If it does end up being true, I’d definitely love getting Twilight Princess HD and Wind Waker HD on the Switch as well.

  3. Pingback: Zelda Skyward Sword στο Switch;

  4. I hope if this is true that Nintendo allows the Pro Controller to be used, and doesn’t force the motion controls on people again. I’m also still hoping for an Ocarina Of Time remaster, Majora’s Mask remaster, and maybe even a Twilight Princess remaster. Or remakes of all. They all deserve it.

  5. I dont know if this is true, but when it comes to ports, enough already I’m through.

    Switch needs something new, when that comes, I’ll invite people to my lair for a barbecue.

  6. I love the motion controls the most the thing I hate about it is picking the items. It takes forever for me to pick.
