Koei Tecmo has announced that Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout has now shifted over 500,000 physical and digital copies worldwide. This makes it the highest selling game in the Atelier series. You will be able to get your hands on the sequel Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy this winter here in the west.
We all know why this game did well for an atelier game and why it’s the only game that features the same main character in a row.
All in all, I’m excited for Ryza 2
I didn’t even like the first game that much and yet I’m also anticipating the sequel…

In all seriousness though the whole time skip thing is huge appeal to me where every character has an updated design.
Like with the half way point in Three Houses. Just waiting to see a big muscly Tao that towers over Ryza and is voiced by Patrick Seitz or some shit.
