If you’ve had your eyes on a game in the sale on the Nintendo eShop but wondered when it’s going back up to full price, you’ll be happy to know that as of today, a ‘days remaining’ countdown function has been added. You can see it for yourself in the image above (thanks, Nintendo Everything). This comes after another update for the eShop where pre-orders can be cancelled and payment terms for pre-purchasing titles has been updated. You can read more on that here.
Say what you want about this feature, I think it’s awesome because now I don’t have to check every single game just to find out what day the sale ends.

Great I actually suggested this in a survey from them. I will live with the illusion my response is the reason this came into being lol

My uncle works at Nintendo. He said your response was the reason this came into being.

Wow, they must have listened to fans then because I’ve suggested this in survey’s to Nintendo as well.
It’s a great feature, one that has got me to buy many a game through Steam specifically.

That’s a step in the right direction. I hope they keep adding QoL updates to the eShop. For starters, a sorting option to filter the indie/shovelware litter.

We need more sorting options in general.

The option to block out shovelware title by title would be sweet.
