Games Industry is reporting that CD Projekt Red saw a 70% increase in half-year revenue due in part to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on the Nintendo Switch system. The game performed strongly since launching on Nintendo’s hybrid system back in October last year. The company cited “excellent sales” of the game on the platform as the key driver of growth during 2020.

The game launched for Nintendo Switch in October 2019, and it has continued to perform strongly for that platform ever since. In the company’s half-year report, released yesterday, CD Projekt noted “excellent sales” of the Switch version as a key driver of growth.
