Rivals of Aether is coming to Nintendo Switch on 24th September 2020

Popular indie fighting game Rivals of Aether finally has a release date on the Nintendo Switch system. You will be able to get your hands on it on Thursday, 24th September. The game will be titled Rivals of Aether: Definitive Edition and you can get all the details on the game’s official site. For now here’s what to expect along with the trailer for Rivals of Aether: Definitive Edition.

“Rivals of Aether is an indie fighting game that first appeared in 2015 as a Steam Early Access title. Now 5 years later, it’s coming to the Nintendo Switch and it has never been better. 

The Definitive Edition is fully loaded with content including six additional characters on top of the base eight and two of them are guests from popular indie games Ori and the Blind Forest and Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove.

The Definitive Edition is also loaded up with new features including 4 Player Online Multiplayer and a new Tetherball Game Mode.”

  1. Sick! I’ve been wanting to try this out. I’ve been so over Smash Ultimate for a loooong time, so it will be nice to finally have a decent “Smash Bros” style game on the Switch to play.

    1. Absa is Zelda’s aerials mixed with Pikachu’s recovery, Zetterburn is Joker’s side special but like all his moves. Ori and Wisp is Rosalina and Luma. Parrying actually makes sense, di is strict but familiar, directional air dodges let you recover and tech to the stage to do another recovery because there is no ledge grab. KRAGG.
