Pokemon Sword & Shield has been updated to Version 1.3.1 (patch notes)

The latest Pokemon title for the Nintendo Switch, Pokemon Sword & Shield, has received a new update today bringing the game to Version 1.3.1. The patch notes are unavailable at the time of writing this, but apparently it fixes a variety of bugs including some fixing some unintended circumstances in the battle system. Once the full patch notes are available we shall publish them. Pokemon Sword & Shield is available now on Nintendo Switch along with the Expansion Pass.

Ver. 1.3.1 (Released December 21, 2020)

  • Fixed some issues for a better gameplay experience.

  1. I wish it would let me block Allister, Avery and Hop from Wyndon post game rematches. Those characters disappoint me because they are not hot girls. I’m glad Gordie is not on my game. #KlaraIsBetterThanAvery #ShanuaIsBetterThanHop

  2. Have they added more pokemon to the game ? Haven’t played since it first released.

    Never finished it maybe I’ll go back and play and get the dlc if it’s worth it.

    1. With the DLC they added in a few new Legendaries and many of the missing Pokemon (including gigantamax versions of the gen 1 starters). There are still some Pokemon absent from the game though (mainly Pokemon from gen 4 if I’m not mistaken).
