Nintendo of Europe has revealed the most played games on the Nintendo Switch last year and it seems it was a battle between the mighty Fortnite and the addictive Animal Crossing: New Horizons in Europe. There are some fantastic games in the top twenty so it just goes to show that Switch owners generally have near impeccable taste! Here’s the top twenty most played Switch games in Europe during 2020:

I’ve never played Fornite. But over Christmas ny little nephew begged me to play him. I’ve now played about 60 games. Its seriously addictive
How is Pokemon Sword *always* more popular/more played than Shield? It’s the same on every chart. I’ve never seen Shield higher up on a list than Sword, even on the eShop best sellers list (in fact, right now Sword is there while Shield is not).
Not that either of those games actually have any right to be there with how painfully mediocre/bad they really are.
