Famitsu has revealed the best-selling Japanese video games during 2020. 185,66 billion yen was gained on video game hardware and video game software sales accumulated 181,72 in total. Nintendo Switch family sales totalled 5,956,943 and Animal Crossing: New Horizons was the top-selling game. The Nintendo Switch family sold 1.3 times more in 2020 compared to 2019.
