  1. Ask me 5 years ago, if the NX was going to be Nintendo’s top ten best sellers and outselling the 3DS I would had probably laughed.

If this keeps up it will pass 100 million especially if they bring out the right software.

    1. It’s definitely on course to beat the PS4. At the equivalent time since launch for the PS4 (August 2017) it had sold 63 million so is a fair way ahead already and by the end of its lifespan should comfortably beat the PS4. If it continues at this pace it even has a chance to beat the PS2 and DS.

It’s so good to play games on the Switch. As someone who doesn’t about graphics of the last gen I’m happy with it.

  3. This is all nice but we don’t have many games , looking at a top 25 list for example:

    25: Ring Fit Adventure
    24: Link’s Awakening
    23: Astral Chain
    22: Steamworld Dig 2
    21: Monster Hunter Ultimate Generations
    20: Splatoon 2
19: Paper Mario: The Origami King
18: Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
    17: Pokemon Sword Shield
    16: XenoBlade Chronicles 2
    15: Spiritfarer:
    14: Stardew Vally
    13: Mario+Rabbids
    12: Super Mario Maker 2
    11: Celeste
    10: Hollow Knight
    9: Slay The Spire
    8: Mario Kart Deluxe
    7: Hades
    6: Luigi’s Mansion
    5: Fire Emblem: Three Houses
    4: Animal Crossing: New Horizons
    3: Super Mario Odyssey
    2: Super Smash Bros
1: Zelda Breath of the Wild

More than half of these aren’t even triple A titles or indie games , The only games that are really intresting are Zelda , Mario , Pokemon , Paper Mario and the games that are somewhat intresting Super Smash Bros , Animal Crossing , Mario Kart , Xenoblade and Donkey kong , Mario kart are just ports. This issue has been going on since the WII and the N64 didn’t have more than 12 titles eather but those where still amazing. When you look at the PS1,2,3,4 for example I always easily have 40-60 Triple A titles that all score high ratings like Mario and Zelda. Witcher 3 isn’t on this list but obviously a great game and there might be some more that I missed. Anyway , Yes the WII has great sales and so does the Switch but Nintendo is targeted at Casual gamers and not the core gamers. Take the Wii for example every bar in my town had a Wii and people who never played video games where doing wii sports in the bar and allot of females I know had a wii even though they never bought or played games in there entire life.

The argument most seen is that Nintendo lost the battle with sony and Xbox for the core gamer market , so they now target a younger market and casual market , also the Gamecube did have superior Graphics but they still lost to the ps2 so Nintendo decided to move on and do something else. This resulted in allot of there core player that made Nintendo great in the 90’s moving on to other consoles , out of roughly 25 people around me that grew up with Nintendo only 1 still plays Nintendo exclusive and the rest moved on to Sony or Microsoft as there go to consoles because they simply deliver far better library’s. For the people who want to argue with this google top 50 lists for different consoles and look at game ratings and sales numbers. I’m not intresed in Gran Turismo because i dont care about cars but do recognize its a solid game , so please put personal prefference asside and look at the facts.
