Panzer Dragoon II Zwei: Remake launches this year

The Panzer Dragoon Zwei: Remake of the acclaimed 1996 rail shooter video game for the SEGA Saturn will be launching this year on the Nintendo Switch system. The news was announced today on Twitter by the official Panzer Dragoon Twitter account. The classic title is developed by MegaPixel Studio and published by Forever Entertainment. The original Panzer Dragoon Remake was released on the Nintendo Switch in 2019 and is available right now on the Nintendo Switch eSop now.

    1. Most fans of the series experienced PDII Zwei as their first PD experience and the second game is the reason the series has a cult following. If you ask most of the hardcore fans of the series they will tell you their favorite out of the series is either mostly the second entry and some will say PD Saga is their favorite.
      Tbh I’m hoping they remake all 3 for current systems and remaster Orta and port it to Switch a PS4/PS5 because I would love to own all four games on one platform and I wish to at least have a chance to play PD Saga for once given how it was the best Saturn RPG to this day.

  1. Oh god, I REALLY hope they learned a couple of stuff from the 1st remake. I bought it despite unfavorable reviews specifically BECAUSE I wanted a remake of Zwei, if this is the only way it can come back into the limelight.
    Pleeeeeeease don’t fuck it up.
