Xenoblade developer Monolith Soft announces a “large expansion” of staff

Monolith Soft, the acclaimed development team behind the Xenoblade Chronicles franchise, is currently on a massive hiring spree for developers and artists etc as the company has 40 job listings open on its website. Monolith Soft is helping out Nintendo with the next big game in The Legend of Zelda franchise for the Nintendo Switch, which is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2. The game still doesn’t have a release date and presumably they are also working on their own big projects too.

      1. Totally unwarranted comment. But that’s fine. I can be an asshole, too. Just ask anyone that’s been on this blog for years & knows me.

You sound like one of those rejects coughretardscough on Twitter (or other social media sites) telling people they can’t have an opinion on a movie unless they are a professional actor/director/etc. These types tend to either be woke & trying to defend their shitty agenda pushing trash coughCaptainMarvel/Charlie’sAngels2020rebootcough, they are corporate ass kissing puppets enslaved by their corporate overlords, actual stupid idiots, a troll, or all of the above. So which are you? A, B, C, D, or E?

(I’ve been trying to avoid conflict & be the mature one on the internet for over 1-2 years, but it’s just made me be an asshole to someone I care about. Time to let the demon inside out to play again. Plus, I need to start honoring the two villains I named myself after. Lol)

    1. Don’t worry, they are Nintendo’s largest developmental subsidiary with multiple studios of their own. This isn’t pre-2017 Monolith Soft. They are a lot larger than they used to be. They created their own dedicated Zelda team, seperate from their other teams, and their other codevelopment work is handled by their Kyoto studio which is entirely different from the studio making Xenoblade and their new IP.

    2. I implied that you don’t know what you’re talking about (because you have zero idea what the actual internals of game development is like) and you some how got Twitter junkie “woke” “feminist” “corporate “shill”?
How does you’re brain actually functioning in a way that let you jump to a million claims from a million places lol?

Oh, your like 15 years old. No one with self awareness would ever say” time to let the demon inside out to play agin”.

      1. I went multiple choice because I wasn’t sure what to label you as. I guess I forgot to put “simply just an asshole” as one of the options. Lol And no. I’m an adult. I’m just one that hasn’t let adulthood kill my inner child. Or my flare for the dramatic. Next time, maybe don’t be an asshole to someone that wasn’t being overtly malevolent & nicely educate them first. Like the other guy did.

  1. Amazing. We have already seen concert art from their upcoming untitled game and it helps that over the last two years they almost tripled the number of staff. Now this is a studio that puts out quality work unlike Gamefreak :(
