There’s a lot of Pokemon movies, anime episodes, eSports content, and so much more. In fact, there’s so much video content related to the franchise that The Pokemon Company and Nintendo could easily release an app that enables fans to watch and enjoy all of it. Well, that’s exactly what they did.
The Pokemon Company and Nintendo have announced “Pokemon TV”, an app that is now available for the Nintendo Switch. According to Nintendo, “Pokémon TV is a fun way to watch all sorts of great Pokémon programming! Enjoy the adventures of Ash, Pikachu, and their friends, along with animated specials and highlights of Pokémon Championship tournaments”. The content will change “periodically”.
But that’s not all. The app even includes a category that appeals to the franchise’s younger fans. Nintendo says on the app’s eShop listing page that “the Junior category includes videos to entertain younger Trainers. Kids can join in with sing-along songs, hear popular nursery rhymes, and more”.
I’ll be dipped, that’s not half bad I say.
Super late but cool for those that watch the show nonetheless.
I’m not a Pokemon fan and don’t play Pokemon games, but that is a pretty neat addition for any Pokemon switch fans.
Not bad. Now people won’t miss a single episode of Pokemon that they miss on TV.
They’re doing a great job with the 25th Pokemon anniversary celebrations
I was gonna go the “shiver me timbers” route with every episode, not so much movies, save a few, cuz i need to catch up but this is better than going with my original plan.
Christopher Hackney, Casey Mongillo, Zeno Robinson and Griffin Puatu are part of the reason I stopped watching the English dub. I enjoyed most of the Japanese language episodes during the final season of diamond/pearl because they came out earlier than the English audio. Not a fan of Hop, Allister, Avery and Goh.
