Square Enix says they might have Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake news to share soon

There isn’t a whole lot of information on Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake yet, even though the game had been announced by Square Enix earlier this year. There isn’t a release date at all, and even the platforms it will be releasing on isn’t really known yet.

However, there might be an end to the silence soon. In an interview with Famitsu that Nintendo Everything posted a translation of, Dragon Quest creator Yuji Horii mentioned that “I can’t say much yet, but we might be able to deliver more news on DQIII soon”.

    1. From what they said, the team chose to do DQ3 first, since it’s one of the better ones. But that they are open to doing the first 2 entries, after they finish this one.

  1. Maybe Square Enix will have more information about Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake at Jump Festa and announce the western release date. I hope the games they mention at Jump Festa includes even a hint that Dragon Quest Builders 3 is in development and an official release date for Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D remake western release. We might find out soon enough with Jump Festa December 17th.
