Nintendo composer Ryo Nagamatsu has announced on Twitter that he has now left the Kyoto-based company in search of new adventures. Mr. Nagamatsu has composed songs for Super Mario Galaxy 2, Mario Kart 8, Splatoon 2 and Splatoon 3, and much more. In a brief statement on the social network he said that he intends to “work a little wider and more directly to help those who need my help and to help the industry.” It will be interesting to see what his next projects will be. Mr. Nagamatsu originally joined the company in April 2006 .
“I have made a decision to leave the company of April 30, 2023. I will work a little wider and more directly to help those who need my help and to help the industry. Thank you all for your kind support! I look forward to serve you in the future!”

Man he left so soon. Really did a awesome job for composing those games and I fully respect people like him.
I’m going to miss his music a lot, my best wishes to him and his journey from here on.
