  1. I can remember playing Altered Beast on Sega Genesis at my friends house, i hope the new remake project is for Altered Beast but i’d be happy with a classic port.

  2. I hope they bring us a special collector’s edition for those who love the franchise! 🤑🤑🤑🤑 Take my money Sega

  3. Can you imagine if your favorite band kept remaking their old music over and over instead of creating new music? Thats why I’m hating all these ports and remakes. Ok, Pink Floyd, Dark side of the moon was great but did you have to remake it every 5 years for a new audience? Guess we’ll never know how Animals and Wish you Were Here would have turned out cause you were too busy remaking Darkside once again.

    1. What has Sega done in recent years that gives you the impression that they are even capable of making a good new game? They need to get a few things right before they go down that road again. And I’m sure Sega wants to know if any game without a blue hedgehog will even sell enough to be worth making a new entry. And comparing Sega of today to Pink Floyd in the 70s is a joke. Sega used to be a great gaming company and hopefully they will again someday. Pink Floyd used to be a great band and then Roger Waters went crazy and it became dysfunctional. Sega wasn’t remaking these games while they were still new obviously, but they also became dysfunctional. I’ll take Super Monkey Ball and any other remake that isn’t yet another Sonic. Sega used to be a well-balanced company that didn’t rely on 1 IP.

    1. Yes, he did sadly. But he was only with them for the first album and barely the second. It would be another 5 years before DSotM. But I was referring to Roger’s fighting with the group much later that caused the band to split.

As for Sega, I think it’s a good idea for them to gauge the market and see if a franchise other than Sonic will sell. Because if it does, they might find it worthwhile to make a new entry. As for an entirely new IP, keep dreaming I guess.
