Square Enix has confirmed that the remake of fan-favourite JRPG, Star Ocean: The Second Story, will run at 30fps on the Nintendo Switch family of systems. The Japanese company also said that the more powerful PlayStation 5 version will run at 60fps. The game’s resolution on both platforms have not been revealed yet by Square Enix, though hopefully the Switch version is 1080p when docked and 720p when played in handheld mode. The news was shared by a company representative during this week’s Gamescom 2023 event in Cologne, Germany.
Star Ocean: The Second Story R is targeting 30fps for Nintendo Switch

I didn’t realize “Star Ocean The Second Story R” would be available on the Nintendo Switch, i pre-ordered it immediately once it become available on PSN.
Can always cancel a preorder.
3rd party ports never fail to disappoint on Switch. They always look and perform worse.
Most of them actually perform great. The switch is praised for all its ports over any other systems.
