Nintendo sending out detailed survey to Paper Mario: Thousand-Year Door owners

Nintendo has started sending out a detailed survey to players who purchased the wonderful Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door to find out what players think of the game. Some of the questions asked are if there are any characters you liked, what kind of characters you like (brand new and unique, old and returning or standard), if you enjoyed the game’s story and the balance between story and combat etc. As a Reddit user rightly pointed out, “it feels very much like the “infamous” Super Paper Mario survey rumoured to be responsible for the shift in direction of the series.” Check your inboxes, as I received my survey and have attached a quick screenshot of it below.

  1. The battle system in ttyd is sorta kinda of annoying to me, I like 64 battle system more, but ttyd feels more like a grind session to level up your exp (seriously +5 for hp,bp, or fp is a joke) and the weird stage mechanic with props falling is kinda so rng, tbh I don’t mind those annoyance that much but I dislike the fact that Mario damage output doesn’t change much and how little damage he does on enemies, I hate how this game really wants you to rely on using heavy damage output items and badges that make you do more damage on boss, each boss I fought, I felt kinda under level despite encountering every enemy on the map, this game really just makes me miss Mario & Luigi series alot as battles and exp feel more balance

  2. I liked what Bug Fables did with their battle system. It shows you can definitely improve and ex;pand on the formula.
