Games Industry writer Christopher Dring is reporting that Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is the No.1 boxed video game in the United Kingdom this week. Dring also reports that Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door has had a bigger launch than Super Mario RPG, also for the Nintendo Switch family of systems. The long-awaited remake’s opening week sales are virtually identical to Paper Mario: The Origami King, which launched in 2020.
