Ever wish that you could wake up in one of the playful worlds from Nintendo? Well, it’s time to stop dreaming! Introducing Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo – an interactive alarm clock designed to add some Nintendo charm to your home and your daily routine. Alarmo will be available at retail starting in early 2025 at a suggested price of $99.99 USD, and Nintendo Switch Online members in the U.S. and Canada can purchase it early via the My Nintendo Store right now!

Want to see Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo in action? Get your first look here: https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/nintendo-sound-clock-alarmo-121311/.

Alarmo features motion sensor technology that responds to your movements, allowing you to snooze your alarm with motion alone and stop it by getting out of bed. Tailor your routine and make waking up fun by picking from 35 scenes inspired by five Nintendo titles – Super Mario OdysseyThe Legend of Zelda: Breath of the WildSplatoon 3Pikmin 4 and Ring Fit Adventure – then set a time and let Alarmo handle the rest.

In the morning you’ll experience immersive sounds and music from the scene you picked. Rise to sounds of the Mushroom Kingdom with Mario and friends, begin your day’s adventure with Link and Princess Zelda, or start fresh with the Inklings from Splatoon 3. And those are just some of the experiences you can wake up to!

That’s not all – you can also check Records to see how much you move around in your sleep, set an hourly chime themed to your chosen title, and change between Steady or Gentle Modes for your morning alarm. In Steady Mode, the alarm will gradually get more intense the longer you stay in bed, whereas Gentle Mode offers a more consistent intensity level. There’s also Button Mode for a more traditional, tactile “hit the snooze button” alarm clock experience. You can even use sleepy sounds to wind down with soothing music and sounds at your set bedtime.

Plus, if you link your Nintendo Account you can download scenes from the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Animal Crossing: New Horizons games via free updates when they become available. To sign up for either membership, or for more information about the special offers and benefits of each, visit https://www.nintendo.com/switch/online/. Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo is also available at the Nintendo NY store, with no Nintendo Switch Online membership required for purchase.

Whether you’re looking to up your wake-up game, add a splash of Nintendo color to your home or just wind down with your favorite characters, Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo is not just an alarm clock — it adds a bit of fun to your whole day.

  1. Finally! The reveal of the REAL Nintendo system that we all been waiting for! LETS ****ING GO!🔥🔥🔥

    (joke post)

  2. I recall Iwata talking about a “quality of life” device that would measure your sleep and fatigue while you were in bed. This was around 2014. It looks like it may have taken ten years, but it’s finally here!

    1. I honestly rather use that one.

Also sucks we likely have to wait for updates to get music from older games.

Also betting this has a hidden mini game on it.

  3. A better alternative would be to just let your phone use Nintendo music as your alarm to wake you instead of paying a $100 for some basic animations and sound effects, heck they could have made a whole sleep base app to montier your sleep and make custom design alarms for free, I only see parents and super fans buying this clock.

  4. For that price you could download stacks of Nintendo tunes from the iTunes Store and just set em as your alarm on your phone…. Or why don’t Nintendo do an alarm feature for the switch and then you could wake up to your switch in the morning ( just make sure you don’t throw it across the room)

  5. Maybe the top charging port that’s rumoured to be on switch 2 is so you can charge your alarmo and switch 2 at the same time.
I wonder how well this will sell…. Time will tell I suppose

  6. Does the date march 10 at 7:12 have to do with a switch “successor” announcement or release? 🤔🤔🤔👽👽👽

  7. Take note how not a single “insider” told us about Nintendo releasing an alarm clock. It’s even being sold at the NY store TODAY.

It’s almost like they don’t actually know any inside information…

    1. PH Brazil: September guys, they will announce it in September

Oh they delayed the reveal, the first days of October and the switch 2 will be revealed

Oh-c-cmon guys I-I-it’s just the first days of October they will reveal it in 2024 for sure!

I-I-I-I I still f-f-feel its going to be in 2024!!!!!!

      1. I wish Iwata was still alive he would had revealed it by now. What exactly is this new stupid CEO doing? The PS5 Pro was unveiled the Game show aready done…….wtf are he waiting for? But a stupid clock!!!!!

  8. My 3ds has a Mario and also an Animal Crossing clock w alarm. And it doesnt spy on me or track my sleep patterns thank God! This clock is kinda creepy.

  9. Wheres the switch two? Its a clock! who knew? Not me and not you. This is ok for the finatical type but charging $100 for a clock is way overpriced! Nintendo you must be out of your mind because you have clearly lost sight. George Orwell 1985 device delightfully designed monitoring your sleep as you go to bed at night. Recording how many times you farted and sharted ooh what a delight! Paying 100 to wake up to the splat from Splatoon or Marios wahoo!? You must be high or something have you been sniffing glue? You can blow your money anyway you want but just remember in the end its still just a clock with Nintendo slapped on it so if you still truly want it for a 100 buckeroo? the jokes on you as you get spied on too with Nintendos Skynet clock monitoring your every move.
