THQ says Epic Mickey Rebrushed sales slower than expected

The announcement of the return of Epic Mickey in Epic Mickey: Rebrushed was welcomed by fans, but the $60 price tag was seen as a little excessive by gamers. THQ Nordic has briefly mentioned sales of the game in their downloadable Interim Report. The company says that the game was well-received by players, but digital sales have been slower than the company had expected, which is a shame as the chance of a new game in the series hinges on the sales figures of Rebrushed.

The most notable new release, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, late in the quarter, was well received by players but initial digital sales were slower than expected.

  1. Too high of a price for a game that is 99% a straight-up port. They could’ve either done some very needed QoL tweaks or added some new/scrapped content in order to justify it.
