Shiny Pokemon and ranked coming to Pokemon TCG Pocket next week

Today, The Pokémon Company group announced that Shiny Pokémon will soon debut in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, with the launch of the new themed booster pack, Shining Revelry. Beginning March 27, 2025, players can discover Shiny Pokémon and participate in ranked matches, introducing a new way to battle in the app.

The Shining Revelry booster pack will introduce a variety of Shiny Pokémon cards—featuring fan favorites like Charizard ex, Lucario ex, and Pachirisu—which sparkle beautifully when tilted, offering an exciting new way to view the cards in a digital format. In addition, Shining Revelry will also introduce Pokémon and Trainers from the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games, including Tatsugiri, Sprigatito, and Iono.

Beginning April 1, players can look forward to obtaining a Shiny Charizard-themed display board and binder to showcase their favorite cards. Furthermore, to celebrate the launch, new ex Starter Deck missions will run from March 27–April 26, allowing players to earn a deck ticket, which can be exchanged for a starter deck.

Ranked matches will also launch on March 27, where Trainers can battle players of similar skill levels and earn an emblem based on their end-of-season rank for display on their profile. The first season, featuring Shining Revelry, will be available from March 27 to April 26.

  1. Literally did not see that coming. Holy heck I’m hyped. The only clue we had was that new rarity symbol for the shiny Pokemon in the game code

  2. Nevertheless, I would be delighted to engage in a discussion regarding the game “Foodle” in light of any information or descriptions you may have.
