There have been instances of a number of Nintendo Switch games not working properly with the Nintendo Switch 2 system, which is clearly a pain if you play predominately on the new system. Thankfully, Nintendo has been working with partners to get the games working on the company’s latest system. Here’s the latest batch of games which should work without issue on the Nintendo Switch 2.

- Mon-Yu: Defeat Monsters And Gain Strong Weapons And Armor. You May Be Defeated, But Don’t Give Up. Become Stronger. I Believe There Will Be A Day When The Heroes Defeat The Devil King. [only Japanese version confirmed fixed currently]
- Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX [only applies to Japanese version currently]
- Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis Cloud
- Powerful Pro Baseball 2024-2025
- Touhou Artificial Dream in Arcadia

Still hoping Saints Row 3 and 4 get patched.

PSO 2 New Genesis should come to Switch 2 and run natively… or better yet… Sega SHOULD bring PSO Blue Burst to Switch 2 and make more episodes for it as DLC… that would print money for them!!!
Why does Nintendo have to hold players in Limbo. Eg. NMS Expo not playable.
