Thanks to DAPower98 for sending in the news tip

This is great news , the sad thing is, it is confirmed that all 3’games will be game key cards. I can hear the moron cry babies say, well I won’t buy them, we hate key cards, but see what these stupid morons don’t understand is they think that if they don’t buy the resident evil key card games, they will say take that Capcom.
And they, in their empty headed delusional minds will think Capcom will say, BOO HOO, we will release all our games in physical form, no more key cards.
But in reality Capcom will say, so they don’t want our games, they won’t buy them, so FUCK Nintendo fans, we won’t bring anymore of our games out on the switch 2 anymore why waste money on making games they won’t buy., we will just keep them on Sony PS 5 and PCs.
Yes so thanks to you dumb asses, we could lose a lot of 3td party games, but you morons won’t listen, I guess you are all to stupid to understand how video game companies are supposed to make money. I prefer physical games, but I will buy key card games, if it means, the 3rd parties will stay with Nintendo knowing they can make money buy selling their games on the switch 2.
Well , let the incel cry babies start their crying about how reality is wrong.
You nailed it! 👏👏👏
The only one crying at the moment seems to be you 🥲
Can’t wait to see all the triggered man-children offended by your comment 😂
brad10do is one^^^
It’s not my job to understand how companies make money. I evaluate what a company offers and determine if I want to spend my money on that. How the company interprets that is up to them but I’m not buying something to make them or you feel better.
Bro is openly proud of being ignorant 😭
It’s kind of like how CDs and DVDs got replaced by streaming, and even before that, vinyl records and video tapes were replaced too.
It’s not exactly the best thing, but that’s just how technology and the world move on and there’s not much we can do about it.
Uh, no. They got replaced by bluray. And music cds AND vinyl still get made. For whatever reason, people have this dumb idea that suddenly the development of new forms of physical storage medium has to stop, just because digital forms are also available (which has been the case regardless one way or another in the past too). It’s alsp funny that people dont realize these companies use high grade physical formats to store all of their important data for archival.
Bluray was never as popular as dvd and streaming and downloads took most of their market. CDs and vinyl still get made, but they are a niche, most of the music is consumed through the internet. Computers and audio systems don’t even have drives for cds and dvds anymore, you have to buy a separate device to play them.
Hey, great point. In that case i will continue to not waste my money on the keycards and hopefully Nintendo gets the message that they made inferior hardware this time around that 3rd parties cant get their games to run on a standard cart, assuming of course these companies are not just lazy or being cheap, which of course could never be the reason.
@Shawn Tackett
You don’t seem to understand that most of us don’t like buying multiple SD cards nor that most of us don’t have good internet speeds plus a lot of us are collectors therefore if a game is pseudo-physical we won’t buy it not just because it’s a pseudo-physical game, it’s the principal of collection. We also don’t buy code in boxes. We want to buy these games but since they aren’t actual physical games we collectors won’t buy them until they actually make physical games.
Key-cards aren’t fun. burnt from Capcom because both MegamanX and RE Revelations came with download codes on Switch 1. Never buying “physical” from Capcom again. If it’s gonna be digital I’d rather it be on my PC where I can get it on sale.
Key-cards aren’t fun.
3rd party games always go on sake on the eshop
Shawn. Nintendo forced consumers into this position. If it ain’t broke, dont fix. Physical or digital.
If people really want this collection. They’ll pay for it. As much as I despise keycards they still hold resell.
People are free to support or not support what they want with their own money. If someone doesn’t want to support Game Key Cards and the company misinterprets that as “Nintendo fans don’t want Resident Evil” then nothing was really lost for people who don’t like GKC’s because they weren’t going to make real physical versions anyway. Supporting the GKC’s we don’t want isn’t going to get us real physical versions, and I have no obligation to pay for something just because someone else wants it.
Wow! This is actually great news to me. You get RE 7, 8, and 9 for $90!
I was expecting 7 and 8 to be the same cost as RE 9, and if there was a bundle, it would be around $180 or more.
I already played RE 7 and 8, but for $90.
It’ll be cool to replay them on the Switch 2.
This is a definite pickup for me.
I see all the comments about the Game Key Cards.
And I’m aware of them and hate surrounding them.
I understand it, and I have no hard feelings.
But I’m a Resident Evil fan. And I want to play Resident Evil on Switch.
And I will do that anyway that I can.
Sorry if I’m apart of the problem.
I’m from the Cartridge era… remember Xbox 360 and PS3 going to digital games…. thought that was the dumbest thing ever… physical games were like gold…could be traded or sold. And I had a collection SNES N64 GC GBC GBA etc I had every American DS release.
But as generations got farther ahead and dolphin got more advanced… emulation and piracy lowered the value of my collection.
Now…all my games are digital… some legal some 🦜🏴☠️⛵
With time physical media may comeback but until then just enjoy the games as you see fit….some legally and others 🦜⛵🏴☠️
