  1. Great looking trailer. The game looks amazing and if people aren’t interested in it by now then it has nothing to do with how good it looks.

    1. I mean, we still don’t know too much about it. If you’ve never played a prime game before I could understand some hesitancy. A stand alone Direct could help newcomers out. I’m ready and don’t really need to know anything else. The release date is motivating me to finish my new tv stand I built and finally buy a 4k TV. I’m a 99% handheld player, but I think this game will be the exception and I’ll play it on the big screen.

  2. Yep, it’s looking nice, I just hope the bike parts don’t let it down.
I am really looking forward to this game and because it’ll probably be the last fps Metroid in like forever I hope they’ve gone all out and maybe bring some dlc to make this game last and have lots of replay.

  3. I heard the bike parts are not “go anywhere, any direction” and that they still match the exploration vibe of the rest of the game. While it looks like a wide open area, it is still confined area and has things to explore. Also, didn’t we hear that MP5 was already greenlit? Obviously not an official statement but it sounded like MP 5 is a go. Shorter turn around time and would be a Switch 2 exclusive to take advantage of power. Sales expectations for this specific game have to be relatively low by Nintendo, so as long as it doesn’t completely tank I think we’ll get 5.

    1. Nobody has said anything about MP5 anywhere except your comment. Also, if it doesn’t come directly from Nintendo/Retro, it’s not worth mentioning anywhere because rumors aren’t news, nor is anything that’s been leaked by a POS thief. Your comment is exactly how garbage gets thrown around as “news” in the industry, just don’t speak on something an official source (as in, not a “journalist”, they do exactly what you did) hasn’t confirmed.

      1. Hey Robyn here is where I heard about MP5 https://mynintendonews.com/2025/07/16/leaker-claims-retro-studios-rolling-straight-into-metroid-prime-5-after-metroid-prime-4-beyond/

I thought I was clear when I said it obviously wasn’t an official statement. There’s news and then there’s rumors, I think most people can tell the difference and can tell when a rumor is just that. If you only want official news then stick to the Nintendo Today! app. Or keep jumping in the pool and complaining about getting wet.
