Xenoblade Chronicles X backwards compatibility issues fixed on Nintendo Switch 2

Nintendo has announced that the well received Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is now working as intended on the Nintendo Switch 2. The game mostly ran fine when played on the newer hardware though there was an issue which came down to voices going out of sync. This issue has now been resolved. Sadly we are still awaiting a Nintendo Switch 2 enhanced update for the game.

  1. XC1 and XC2 both need it, both XC3 and XCX are debatable if they need them but are a welcome addition. The Musou series def do and by that I mean every Musou that isn’t Hyrule and/or Fire Emblem.
