Pokemon Pokopia extended trailer

Today, The Pokémon Company International shared new information for Pokémon Pokopia, launching on March 5, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2. In this relaxing life simulation game, players awaken as a Ditto that has taken human form and set out to build a utopia where Pokémon and humans can live in harmony.

In Pokémon Pokopia, players will:

  • Meet Professor Tangrowth: A peculiar professor who has been living all alone in a place where humans and Pokémon once lived together peacefully. They appear to be wearing human tools!
  • Build the Ideal Space: Learn moves from encountered Pokémon to help create habitats where even more Pokémon will appear. By teaming up with various Pokémon, players can build houses to live in.
  • Encounter Peculiar Pokémon: In addition to Professor Tangrowth, players will encounter some mysterious Pokémon, including Peakychu, a pale Pikachu with drooping ears; Mosslax, a moss-covered Snorlax crowned with a blooming flower; and Smearguru, a colorful Smeargle that looks like it paints with its tail.

  1. This looks way better than Animal Crossing. But, I have never been a massive Animal Crossing fan either. I even missed playing during Covid when New Horizons was being played day and night by everyone. Today, those same people do not even bother playing it anymore. Game got too repetitive and people got tired of having to maintain it daily.

  2. I’ve got nothing but bad vibes for this game. Everything about it is toxic and cynical, not to mention boring…Another farming/life Sim, wow….What originality! What freshness!
The Pokemon Company is sooooooo shit.
