The Sims continues to be a lucrative franchise for EA and the company is now rumoured to be working on a remastered version of The Sims 4 which is jam-packed full of content. While this news isn’t confirmed it seems likely that this would be a great fit for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 which I could certainly see happening. The Sims 4 Remastered would include seasons and milestones plus it could contain more of a focus on the simulation outside the household. If you are curious there’s lots more information here.

As somebody who was a Sims fan ever since the 2nd game and even played the many spinoffs & GBA games (Which are very underrated imo) Sims 4 is by far the worst and most money hungry game in the series. I would rather pay to have this game erased from the series than buy a remaster because it is a massive stain on an otherwise good longrunning series.
