Resident Evil insider Dusk Golem has naturally been harping on about Capcom‘s next projects for the beloved Resident Evil franchise, consistently stating that Resident Evil Code Veronica is the next game for the remake treatment. Finally, famed leaker Nate The Hate has now chimed in, saying that he has also heard that Resident Evil Code Veronica is the next Resident Evil remake and he says that its currently deep in development at Capcom. He went on to say that Capcom is aiming to release the game in the first half 2027.
“Yes, Code Veronica is being remade & deep in development. Target of release is first half 2027.”
Old news but reaffirming it I guess by him saying this. Code Veronica, 0, and 1 seem to be happening and 5 possibly too. 5 rumors seem to lead that CV and 0 will happen before 1 and even 5 weirdly enough. 1 seems to be next gen 2030 for the remake or later.
