The company which was founded by Keiji Inafune and titled Comcept has now officially closed for business. The company was officially dissolved by a shareholders’ resolution on 13th January. 1. No you might Level 5 owns it. This article is misleading. Level 5 did not partner with Comcept they bought them and now they have fully shut it down. All the IP including Mighty No. 9 belongs to them. Weird I just remembered Legendary was supposed to adapt it into a movie. Funny now because Mega Man games are being made well 11 and now the next one.

    1. That is not on Comcept or Inafune the publisher Deep Silver owned by Embracer Group now is to blame for that weird marketing. They did it with other games too, they also handled Shenmue 3 which was weirdly handled by them. Saints Row is them too and Dead Island.

      1. People should play his other games they all attack Mighty No 9 but most never played Azure Striker Gunvolt, Soul Sacrifice, or ReCore. Dead Rising was him too but Max Dood and others try to slander the mans name. He has made good games he just can not run a company or handle funds same with others, Kamiya is the same look at Scalebound, Project GG, his kickstarter for Wonderful101, then shading partner companies and spending all day on Twitter blocking people, had Platinum make licensed activision games as well as mobile and live service games plus sold Tencent a share in Platinum to keep ir open after his bad management. Makes Inafune look like a saint but he gets more flack weird.

  1. What? No the company been gone it was bought by Level 5 years ago then folded into the main Level 5 office a while back. This is not news. Inafune left not long ago maybe a year or 2.

      1. They did not collaborate with Level 5 they were bought by Level 5 and rebranded Level 5 Comcept then were folded into Level 5 now officially are now gone yes by shareholder vote. Also Level 5 Comcept continued a while aftet Inafune left before being folded. The article here is misleading, the IP by Comcept are owned by Level 5 as was Comcept.

    1. Exactly I guess now it is officially closed but it was reported last year they folded the Comcept offices into Level 5. Also yes there was no partnership, Level 5 owned Comcept and with it closed owns all the IP so Red Ash which never happened despite supposedly having funding from Fuze and Mighty No 9 belong to Level 5.

    1. He did not betray anyone. Hopefully they bring him back to make Mega Man Legends 3 they brought back other former people who left for Platinum and now Kamiya.
