The acclaimed Stardew Valley will soon be celebrating its 10th anniversary and the game’s creator, Eric Barone has spoken to IGN about the upcoming Stardew Valley 1.7 update. Barone says that one of the things in the 1.7 update is the addition of two new marriage candidates. He went on to say that he will reveal who the characters are on the game’s anniversary.

“I’m trying to not reveal too much because I like for it to be a surprise. What I will say without maybe being too specific is that with this update, one of the things we’re trying to do is… Well, there is a popular fan request, which has to do with the children, trying to make the children a little more interesting. So I’m trying to do something with that, but there’s a lot of other things in the update as well that no one’s really asked for, but I think people will appreciate it.”

“I’m going to be adding two more marriage candidates, but I’ll reveal who it is on the anniversary day.”

    1. That feels kind of wrong because you could potentially marry Pam, have a child with her, divorce her, then marry Penny, have a child with her, and then one of your kids will be your other kids aunt/uncle. And Penny will be the first kids stepmom/half-sister.
