Final Fantasy VII Rebirth out June on Nintendo Switch 2

Square Enix has announced during today’s Nintendo Direct that gamers won’t have long to wait to play Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on the Nintendo Switch 2. The game is scheduled for 3rd June. Compromises have been made on the visuals but it should be another solid port from Square Enix.

      1. No. Where is FFXV and Type-0 HD? Older than these games where are their ports? You have fun if you want this but pass for me XV would have won me over also Sleeping Dogs on Switch 2. Also just realized KH collection was not here that also would have been great.

        1. All the classic Final Fantasy games are already on the Switch though.

I’m hopeful that we’ll get a native port for all the Kingdom Hearts games at some point. It feels inevitable imo

    1. Not really at least not at launch. Square could hoping the Switch 2 and Xbox ports bring in a new audience and can boost part 3 to higher sales than rebirth which flopped. Part 3 coming to Switch 2 will happen at launch is the question? Sony funded this so what happened if it’s not timed exclusive?

  1. I feel like the people who got into AoT in 2016 cause Switch 2 Remake Intergrade is my first time playing and I’m absolutely hooked. Can’t wait, and this game looking and running as well as it did proves to me that pretty much any PS5 game could run perfectly competently if the devs are willing to lock in
