Polish analyst says rumoured Witcher 3 DLC is expected to sell 11 million copies

The rumour of a brand new expansion for the massively popular The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been doing the rounds for quite some time with the last update coming from IGN who said its sources say its coming. Today, news has come from Polish analyst Chrzanowski who says that it’s expected to shift 11 million copies and retail for $30. The analyst says that the DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt currently has a production budget of around $14.5M, excluding marketing, and is expected to lead into the marketing campaign for the upcoming The Witcher 4.

  1. If they are going to pull their usual Hollow Knight level advertisment then yes it can sell even more than that.

  2. I have yet to play this game properly yet. I think the shear size of it is so daunting that I keep putting off giving it a proper go.
    Now with even more coming this game is an incredible achievement.
    It’d be nice if why their at it with more dlc there’s an upgrade for switch 2, this would def help sales of the new dlc
