Capcom is not happy that full copies of Resident Evil Requiem, which the company says were obtained early and “through improper means,” found their way online. The company says it will take strict action where applicable as naturally the company isn’t pleased that spoilers for the game are out in the open. They note that posting footage prior to Resident Evil Requiem’s release “constitutes copyright infringement.” You can read their full translated message down below.
“To everyone looking forward to “Biohazard Requiem”:
We have confirmed numerous gameplay videos of “Biohazard Requiem” that appear to have been obtained through improper means. For the sake of customers who have been eagerly anticipating this title, we kindly ask that you refrain from publishing or posting gameplay videos on video platforms or social media before the official release date.
Posting gameplay footage prior to release not only constitutes copyright infringement, but also diminishes the experience of other players. We will take strict action, including removal and warnings, as soon as such content is discovered.
We also ask those who come across such videos to please avoid watching or sharing them.
Through this title, we aim to deliver “a story where mystery and tension intertwine” and “a thrilling gameplay experience that challenges the unknown.” We would greatly appreciate your cooperation in ensuring that others’ enjoyment is not spoiled. Thank you for your understanding.”

AAA games like this leak online before release all the time, why do devs always act all surprised like this is something new.
It’s called ignorance, and many people have it.
Anybody posting spoilers on youtube should be reported
And this is why physical stinks. I hope game companies go fully digital to prevent this stuff.
