Aspyr says fixes for bugs and texture issues are on the way for Tomb Raider I-III Remastered

The Challenge Mode update for Tomb Raider Remastered didn’t quite go as Aspyr hoped with numerous videos posted online about new bugs discovered and some issues with in-game textures. This led to plenty of angry fans online and radio silence from Aspyr with the company even accused of using generative AI to create the new costumes for Lara to wear. Today, the company has issued a statement saying they are hard at work on fixes for the game in an upcoming update. Here’s what they said.

“We hear and appreciate your feedback regarding the recent Challenge Mode update for Tomb Raider I-III Remastered. Our top priority is the delivery of a patch that will fix the texture issues and technical bugs. In addition, a series of updates are on the way to address a variety of technical issues across all platforms. This is also an opportunity to correct some mistaken information: The outfits in the update were created by our team of artists; no Al generated assets were used in the update. We’ll release more details on the patch content and timing as soon as possible. If you’d like to help us prioritize fixes you can report bugs at support.aspyr.com. Thank you for your patience and support.”
