New Pokemon TCG Pocket-themed Booster Pack Mega Shine coming this month

Today, The Pokémon Company group announced the upcoming release of the next Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket themed booster pack, Mega Shine, March 25, 2026 (evening PDT). 

Mega Shine marks the debut of Mega‑Evolved Shiny Pokémon in Pokémon TCG Pocket, with appearances from Mega Charizard X and Mega Gengar. These new cards will introduce a dazzling new layer to players’ Pokémon TCG Pocket collecting experience.  

Players can look forward to discovering new dynamic Pokémon illustrations, with effects that shimmer as players tilt their cards, adding an engaging and visually stunning touch.  

Upcoming Events  

  • Mega Shine Emblem Event (late March to early April): Players can compete in battles for a chance to obtain new emblems, shinedust, and other items.
  • Community Week Event (early April): Players can trade and share cards to obtain trade hourglasses, special accessories, and other rewards.
  • Slowpoke Drop Event (early-to-mid April): Players can take on special solo battles to obtain B Series promo packs vol. 6.
  • Wonder Pick Event (mid-to-late April):Promo cards featuring Gastly and Wigglytuff will appear in wonder picks. During this event period, there will also be missions that allow players to obtain an event shop ticket which can be exchanged for a promo card at the Shop.

  1. When are they going to give us another Mewtwo card? Seriously?! They’ve only made 2 of them, a regular and an EX card in the original set. They’ve given us several alternate art versions of these two cards, but most of the original 150 have at least one new card in newer sets. This is getting to be ridiculous because Mewtwo is still one of the most popular Pokémon in the series and they just won’t give him a new card for some reason.
