Crimson Desert had a lot of hype surrounding it ahead of launch but the finished product received mixed feedback from reviewers and consumers. However, Pearl Abyss CEO Heo Jin-Young, has informed investors that they have begun testing to see whether they can get the large-scale open world game up and running on the Nintendo Switch 2, saying that they have started research and development (R&D) on it.
Regarding support for Nintendo’s console “Switch 2,” they said, “Since the Switch still has lower specifications compared to other consoles, there are aspects we have to give up on, but internally we have begun taking an interest and started research and development (R&D).”

i just hope for a stable 30 fps and with better looks than Perfomance Mode on Series S because it looks horrible there
If the game runs on Series S, it’ll run on Switch 2…
And I don’t understand the hype around this game; from what I’ve seen, it seems bland… It reminds me of the same “hype” around Aion back in the day.
I’ve been having fun with Crimson Desert and I do agree that the story isn’t the best but that’s not why I’m playing the game for. I myself haven’t experienced any bugs (bought the game after the update) with the exception of the fishing mini game where I can’t reel on a controller (SW Pro).
Wow, I was never expecting them to think about bringing this game to the switch 2. I thought the same thing when star wars outlaws came to the switch 2, and that port was incredible.
I’ve been having fun with Crimson Desert, haven’t had this much fun since playing Skyrim.
