The revered Tetsuya Nomura has uploaded some new Kingdom Hearts-inspired artwork to celebrate the fact that the beloved series is currently celebrating its 24th anniversary. Nomura published new artwork depicting Xehanort and said in an accompanying message that the team at Square Enix is “working hard towards the 25th anniversary”, which takes place next year. He thanked fans for their long-standing support.
“We are currently working hard towards the 25th anniversary. Thank you for your support.”
Where is Kingdom Hearts 4? Game got announced with gameplay in 2022 no update since.
Seems like it’ll drop next year for the 25th anniversary. Probably getting FF7 remake part 3 this year
They did say it was announced just so people know that it exists, and it’s too early in development. Plus it seems that, between Nomura being burnt out and wanting to retire and Missing Link being cancelled, they’re going at a slow pace and KH4 is going to add the story elements from Missing Link, so don’t expect it until late 2027 at earliest. But, most likely, 2028.
And still no Kingdom Hearts collection for the Switch 2… i would buy it in a Heartless beat… :’v
We definitely need the collection proper on the switch 2, no reason not to. Not the garbage streaming/cloud version
