A system update is now available for Nintendo Switch 2 alongside the original Nintendo Switch family of systems, bringing the firmware to Version 22.1.0. The patch notes for both consoles are the same, vaguely promising more necessary but unexciting stability improvements, but that’s easy to forgive considering the previous system update was a major one, adding a Handheld Mode Boost for playing Switch games on Switch 2.
