Popular American retail emporium Best Buy have just advertised The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword with a release date of September 25, 2011.
We know the game is due for release after The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D which is due to launch sometime in June. Do you think this is just a standard place-holder or does Best Buy know something that we don’t?

Best Buy likes to jump the gun on stuff like this. Id like to see an official Nintendo announcement regarding this.
This is a common Best Buy practice, if they expect something to be out in a certain timeframe, they go ahead and pick a day. For instance, I once preordered Phantom Hourglass, which they listed with a febuary release date, it didn’t come out until like mid-fall the same year. Another example, best buy’s US site listed several 3DS games with release dates 1 week prior to the launch of the 3DS (and still do).
In short. Do not believe it unless it was officially announced.
Yeah. Best Buy aren’t gonna be the only ones that Nintendo tell this to, and even if they were, it’s waaaayyyy too soon. Twilight Princess took ages to be released due to numerous refinements, so was delayed loads. But it was worth it in the end and this will be too. I don’t think they should rush this, and I know that they won’t.
Hmm I could picture it. I’m sure Nintendo will announce the release date on E3.
I went to Gamestop the other day and they had a list of games to released and one game was Skyward sword they said it was going to be released in October.
Different companies with different release dates. That is why we’ll never know.
i went to many different gamestops and they all told me its release is November 2nd
