Nintendo of Japan has announced that Japanese gamers will be able to download Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console next week. Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels was originally only released in Japan in 1986 for the Famicom Disk System, and is referred to as Super Mario Bros 2 in Japan.
Wow, it seems like I have to get some video games again… Sigh, I just bought Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance.. :/
First world problems. ;P
I loved this game. Maybe they should have just released Super Mario All Stars and get it all out of the way? Leave luck to heaven.

>マジでマリオくらいしかないよな
They really don’t have anything other than Mario

Meh, i have it on All-Stars on the Wii with SNES graphics. I only got to world B something.
Wow. I liked Lost Levels (even though it’s aggrevating) and LL on the go…cool!
super mario brothers deluxe, gba nes classics super mario bros 2
i wish Nintendo could make a brand new (space after new) super mario bros 4
What about NoA or NoE? Are they releasing it too?
Finally bringing the real super mario bros 2
…to Japan. Where it was already released.
Isn’t this defeting the purpose of Virtual console on a handeheld Should be Super Mario Deluxe.
Should be a 3D Classic like the other NES games on there should be.
Who am I kidding, just give me All Star+ Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country (all3ifyoucan).
Just what we needed, agonizing difficulty on the go!
Reblogged this on NintendoCenter.
why are they re-releasing stuff that’s already on wii’s vc. give people new stuff ya fools.
GIVE WIIU’S SPECIFICS!
i would love to have Pokemon red and blue in eshop.
That may not be a good business move. If they did that two things may happen. 1: less people would buy new Pokemon games. 2: they would have to deal with online connectivity for vs battles and online trading. Because of that, such a release is unlikely to happen (regardless if there is a demand).
Is this the nes version or snes?
I hope this comes over to the North American eShop.
Good thing am not a greedy American. I got all the different 3dses (all regions)
I’m*
