The Legend of Zelda zone will be available for free exclusively on the Wii U version of the game, where it can be downloaded straight from the Nintendo eShop. Fans of both series will be excited to find the level can be openly explored with Sonic in a handsome Link costume, while rupees, heart containers and some enemies can be found within the zone as well. Plus, there’s no time limitations, allowing you to explore secret areas and a mini dungeon. Sonic Lost World: The Legend of Zelda zone DLC will be released tomorrow, March 27, exclusively on the Wii U eShop.

In its exclusive partnership with Nintendo, SEGA has revealed brand new DLC for Sonic Lost World. The DLC was hinted at back in December’s Nintendo Direct when Yoshi’s Island DLC was unveiled to fans, but now SEGA has unveiled the Hylian landscape in a special Legend of Zelda zone trailer.
This looks really cool, with all the easter eggs that are in it, I still need to pick this game up sadly.
This looks amazing. Almost makes me wish I had Sonic Lost World.
Same haha
What a pile of shit. Who cares about this load of horse puke anymore? Oh that’s right! The delusional fanboy dick riders who will be replying to this comment in 3, 2, 1!
Why are you always so angry? Shouldn’t you be doing something worth your time instead of wasting it here
You apparently care enough to post your comment.
Agree Sonic Lost sucks. Look forward for Sonic Boom though.
silence trap
Same here! Lost World was a tremendous disappointment, but I have faith in BRB!!! Sonic Boom is looking like the best Sonic game in a decade.
nintendrones will only buy nintendo games. notice tekken on the wiiu bombed in sales even tho it had nintendo themed character customs
I will always be a butthurt faggot with irrelevant opinions bitching and complain about things no one cares about making myself look even stupider while I shove those huge black dildos up my ass to pleasure more of my butthurt.
Lol. I’m one of the people who actually bought Tekken on Wii U. It sucks that the fanboys would rather only play Mario than a good fighting game once in a while. Then they wonder why Namco Bandai didn’t give us Soul Calibur 2 HD Online..
I’d have bought Tekken Wii U if it was like Tekken 3, which is my favorite fighter next to Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, SoulCalibur II (Link or not), & Virtua Fighter 2.
I enjoyed Dead or Alive Dimensions. & while I enjoyed Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition, it didn’t really have any unlockables (I don’t count the Figurines), yet the Arcade Mode & 35 characters did keep me engaged for quite a while. But Tekken 3D: “Prime” Edition was really barebones, & the included movie had no business sharing the same card space as a game (that space & effort should’ve been spent on more modes [there wasn’t even an Arcade Mode], nor any unlockables [I don’t count the cards].
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core was brutal, though partly because I was using a Wiimote & Nunchuk. Unlockables seemed meh. I recently bought a Classic Controller Pro, so I might give it another go (& also see if Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is even better).
Mortal Kombat II & MK Trilogy were…okay, but not really my style.
I’m not much of a Super Smash Bros. fan. After the original on N64 & then Melee on GCN, I lost interest. Alas, SSB seems the only fighter around to still have unlockables & a large amount of content (too much imo). But it’s far too chaotic for my taste.
It really does suck. I’m tempted to get Injustice, but the major unlockables are DLC. I don’t wanna throw money @ unlocking characters, especially when they cost $5 apiece. & ‘Skins’ cost money, too. Where’s the fun in that? Fighters sure have changed since the Wii (except SSB). It’s not my favorite genre, but I still like them, pending there are plenty of unlockables (i.e. characters, costumes, weapons, et.), & an Arcade/Story Mode. Online ruined fighters for me w/ character-unlock parity & DLC.
I’ve owned every Ninty console since SNES. Each of my libraries, including Wii U, has more 3rd party games than 1st & 2nd. Sadly, 3rd parties only develop games that are loosely based on prior genres. Fighters have changed, & Arcade Racers have been replaced w/ *ech* open-world racers (& Crazy Taxi was such a balanced blend of the two genres). Castlevania is now open world, but I & many want the ‘Metroidvanias’ to remain (the last one was on DS [Order of Ecclesia]. Lords of Shafow: Mirror Fate on 3DS was nice, but it never reached the breadth of gameplay in, say, Circle of the Moon. GBA & DS each had 3 ‘Metroidvanias’ that were popular. But IGA has left Konami, yet Konami could still make them. Hel, N64 had 2 Castlevania games, albeit in 3D. I have MGS: The Twin Snakes & Snake Eater 3D, but I’d much prefer classic Metal Gear like Ghost Babel on Game Boy Color, but more time is spent on audiovisuals & 3D gameplay. Would be alright if there weren’t so many cut-scenes interfering. PoP has been shelved; instead of focused gameplay & environmental puzzles, there’s the willy-nilly acrobatics, 0 environmental puzzles, a glut of story, &…walking of Assassin’s Creed. Played II, got bored fast. The Survival Horror in Resident Evil is now replaced w/ shooting. I have RE 2 on N64, & on GCN have ∅, REbirth, Code VeronicaX, & RE4. RE4 was fun, but not Resident Evil. I have Revelations on 3DS; fun, but not RE. Tomb Raider (I have the original on Saturn): the exploration, quiet solitude, tombs, raiding, T-rex…gone, replaced w/ shooting, shooting, & wicked deaths of Lara. Sadism ain’t fun for me. I loved SUDA51’s Killer7 on GCN, & both No More Heroes on Wii. But Killer Is Dead is a big disappointment. Shooters? More of the Red Steel franchise, please (following what 2 was). The Conduit 3 (fixing the mess that was 2). Another House of the Dead & RE Chronicles would be great. Up, all dormant or dead. I played Golden Eye & had Turok on N64; bleh. Perfect Dark didn’t interest me. A Batman game like Vengeance, please. Another Tales game. Resurrect Dead to Rights, Skies of Arcadia, Shining Force, Ridge Racer Ikaruga, Castle of Shikigami, Muramasa… Etc., etc.
3rd parties used to make exclusives for Nintendo consoles &/or provided multiplats that catered to Ninty fans. They stopped w/ Wii U. Suddenly, a more powerful system equates to the same gaming tastes as prevelant on the other consoles. But, I mostly blame Western “sensibilities”, the economy, 3rd parties’ top-heavy practices, & investor-meddling. Add 5 consoles, one of which has 2 unique & defining control schemes & a custom (i.e. console) architecture, & PC, well, some platform was bound to be neglected (the 1 that needs the most care, of course). Mostly, they shoehorned the wrong type of games in & for quick cash-grabs. Hel, only Ubisoft provided original content while the others ported broken or comparitively costlier 7th gen games on an 8th gen consoles. & no advertising, & a bunch mistakes. I’m amazed that Wii U sold more in it’s 1st few months than PS3 & Xbox’s 1st few months respectively, & still didn’t get proper 3rd party treatment.
I own a Saturn & a PSone. I’ve played games on the PS2 & the original Xbox. I’ve played games on the PS3 & 360. (Ah, face-to-face time w/ friends). Those games didn’t appeal to me & the hardware acrually felt cold. & graphics? I haven’t been wowed since GCN’s Wave Race: Blue Storm, Luigi’s Mansion, &, of course, REbirth. I can’t help it if I prefer Nintendo’s consoles & that their philosophy, mostly, speaks to me, but 3rd parties released some fantastic titles but stopped after the Wii. @ least I’m not a drone, I guess, not that I value the standards of slander (but, hey, you might very well have multiple consoles [but are Sony & MS really that different?]. Me thinks you’re accustomed to multiplatting & therefore can’t unserstand loyalty to a unique brand reliant on exclusives w/ a select amount of multiplats. You are right about putting the games 1st (though Ninty likes to marry its software & hardware). If, say, Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts was like the 1st 2 games, I might have gotten a 360. Sadly, Rare ain’t the same, either. If the PS4 had more than just Transistor to interest me, I’d buy one.
Such a shame most 3rd parties have, imo, lost their way (& a great many devs, too). Platinum Games & Sega might be the only exceptions. @ least indies haven’t forgotten gameplay.
If I offended you, I apologize in advance. That was not my intent, but these wars, man, they distort things. Living in the trenches for so long, I might be a tad passive agressive. That, & I’m just firing this rant out, no time to edit. 1 of our M*A*S*H units just got hit.
Why do the models look so poor? The Gorons, Stalchildren, and Cuccos all look very N64
That might have been intentional, for the Ocarina of Time fans. Personally, I think the look more Wind Waker style than Nintendo 64 style.
Well its probably the look they’re going for. Ocarina of Time is one of the best Zelda games so it only seems fitting.
Sega is appealling to the old fanboys who kno where those models are from, its cheaper anyway
Putting all brand new skyward sword or link between worlds would be a risk cuz not everyone knows those games as well as the classics
Tried the demo on the wii u eshop its seems like for every one thing they get right they go back a few steps.
I feel Lost World would have been better had it been more open like this. If this turns out to be better than the actual game, we know how the next one will be if they return to this gameplay
I’m not gonna lie, THAT LOOKS AWESOME!!!
Oh god, deviantart is gonna love this
You win the internet. I can’t stop laughing at this comment XD
This looks… surprisingly great actually. Only the models’ graphics could be better, but still.
looks better than the whole game put together xD
Sweet. Looks great; a match made in Heaven. Definitely gonna download it soon as possible.
Makes me think of Ocarina of Time. And that’s not a bad thing.
Not gonna lie, that looks pretty damn cool. Nintendo should do more stuff like this.
You realize this is an apology for releasing a shitty game?
inb4 ur just hatin’ this games actually good. Reviews say otherwise. inb4 reviews mean nothing. well theres like 40 reviews said it was mediocre/bad. 20 thought it was good
Yeah I actually like this Sonic a bunch from the Demo, but have little time to play video games right now.
Nah, I know the game was terrible.
inb4 No one says any of that
kkk
apology accepted ;)
I thought the game was ok :)
cool concept..but it looks like it could be on the Wii. It’s like putting in minimal effort just to get it done. How the mighty have fallen
That would be the reason I but this game.
All these DLC makes me want to get this game later this year…
You know that telling trolls you still do not own a Wii U, is not only making yourself look like a hypocrite but it is also giving ammunition to the trolls gun right?
Which in turn gives me power…
…loading trolls with information that can be used against you… gives you power…?
Yes…
That’s the brilliant design…
Anyway enough of the low-lifes…
Why this game didn’t have online to begin with is beyond me…
Who wouldn’t want to play with a friend on this stage?…
There already is multiplayer. Just local multiplayer. Leave that to the spin off Sonic games like SAASRT.
Reblogged this on Curiosidades na internet.
Ok, Sonic in Link’s world was cool enough…but too see sonic wear Link’s cloths and be right beside him is even better.
Its crazy how sonic will have a zelda theme before a zelda wii u or smash bros.
Wind Waker
Nintendoland
I swear, just last night, I was reminiscing about stalchildren, and how much I was mortified by them as a little boy (“okay, just ROLL ROLL ROLL to the gate this time before it closes oh no sunset oh NO THE BRIDGE IS CLOSING NOOOOOOOOFARIGOHRNEOINHIEGRGH…!”), and then this comes along, with Stalchildren seemingly everywhere! EVEN IN DAYLIGHT!!! FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU…!!!
But seriously, this dlc looks awesome, and it’s FREE?! I know I’m a happy camper!… just as long as I’m not camping in Hyrule Field! The N64 generation of fans has fond memories (lack thereof) of the Redeads being scary. I, on the other hand, have similar memories of not not getting that far until I was older because I was too scared of the stalchildren.
If only the rest of the game were this good.
What if the next zelda game for wiiu is being made by Sega and Nintendo what do you guys think about that
That’d be really fucking gay.
NO! SEGA is not a good game developer. Any game developed by SEGA teams are undoubtedly awful. That is why I am excited for Big Red Button’s Sonic game, because the Sonic Team is no where near it’s development.
That is why Bayonetta was a great game, because it was made by Platinum games and not the Sonic team…. SEGA seriously sucks badly.
If that’s how the Sonic team is then they should fire every single one of them. Seriously they really piss me off with the horrible games they do.
Sega is just a publishing card. They’ve made great games like Phantaay Star, Crazy Taxi, and Jet Set Rado. Sonic Team is just adapting to a new style is all. Generations and Colors were magnificent and no doubt Lost World has a lot of potential. We all saw that prior to release.
even though i’m not impressed by the game that DLC is pretty damn awesome :)
It’s nice to see all this DLC come to Sonic Lost World but the one thing that has stopped me from buying the game thus far is the lack of pro controller support for single player. It’s a shame.
The game is not very good so it isn’t much of a loss if you don’t buy it. I bought it just to make sure for myself that the game really did suck.
Unfortunately the rumors were true :/
This DLC is wasted on a bad game.
I have Sonic Lost World and honestly… this would be so much cooler if the game was actually fun :/
I bought the bonus edition as well lol so I have all the additional content to the game, but it SUCKS SO BAD!!! Still haven’t beaten it or played the Yoshi’s Island DLC…
You obviously need to get better better at video games. This game got MIXED reviews. MIXED. That mean it has good and bad. Like Tropical Freeze, which everyone likes to reject.
ABOUT FREAKING TIME! THIS looks awesome! Now we just need a mario galaxy DLC level and we’ll be all set!
Anyone else notice that this Hyrule looks eerily like the one seen in Hyrule Warriors?
Hmmm… now that you mention it… I wonder why that is?
I wish the whole game were more like this. Even if it couldn’t be Zelda themed if it were just a bit more open/fun. Then it might be worth buying.
my bro bought this game and 15mins later returned it later. what a shitty game.
This DLC looks awesome. If only other companies would release free DLC.
This is an awesome DLC – and FREE!!!
Wow I can’t wait to play this tomorrow. I loved the game and still play it every once in a while and I enjoyed the yoshi DLC. I haven’t touch this game in a while because of other games I’m currently playing but I’m so glad it’s releasing now and I can’t get back on and play this amazing looking level. I’m so excited ^.^
*i can’t wait to get back on

LOVE. IT.
Those OoT 3D Models though :P Open World Sonic? I’m all for it.
wow looks like i am buying the game now !
Lost World could’ve been a lot better, but with free DLC like this I can’t really complain.
