Hyrule Warriors Will Feature Impa, Midna And Zelda As Playable Characters, Launches September 26

Nintendo has confirmed that Princess Zelda, Midna and Impa will all feature as playable characters in Hyrule Warriors. So it looks like the Famitsu leak we spotted earlier wasn’t just a rumour after all. The Dynasty Warriors Zelda-themed game can also be played in local co-operative play. But that doesn’t mean there will be a split screen, in fact one player will be able to play on the TV screen, while the other plays directly on the GamePad. And finally, Nintendo has revealed a September 26 launch date for both North America and Europe – not too long after Japan’s August 14 release date.

Amazing Direct, but they still have more to show!!! DEVIL’S THIRD IS EXCLUSIVE TO Wii U!!! I’m watching it on IGN right now!!!!

  2. It would have been so funny if she fell into the treasure chest at the end. That would have gave a lot of people a nice laugh. xD

  3. I’m not too familiar with Impa, even though I know who she is. I just don’t recognize her in this.

Man, seeing Zelda open that chest at the end made me want a Zelda game where you can play the whole time with Princess Zelda even MORE. I want Princess Zelda to be the main playable character in a Zelda game!!!

  4. Tallon Ridley XIII: Kalas

If Super Smash Bros 4 Wii U & 3DS has alternate outfits, I want these outfits for Link & Zelda. That scarf of Link’s & that armor of Zelda’s! FUCK YES!!!

  5. The look of Link for Hyrule Warriors is the same look he should have for the Zelda Wii U game coming 2015. The current art style doesn’t do it for me. Others may think otherwise. Nintendo.. Push the Wii U’s capabilities to the Max!
